Portpatrick - New Lifeboat Berth

Scope of work: LB Marine undertook the supply and installation of five, 15m long tubular steel piles into grouted into 5m deep rock sockets. Ancilliary works included jack stays and a cathodic protection system.
Cumnock River Wall Repair
Client: Davies Chartered Loss Adjusters
Scope of work: Included carefully demolishing the existing damaged river wall, installing a new sheet pile wall and excavating to form a new concrete substructure. Re-using the existing masonry, rebuilding in random rubble and fitting a new stone cope.
Inchgarth Pump Station
Client: Balfour Beatty Civil Engineering
Scope of work: LB installed a temporary cofferdam to assist Balfour Beatty to access the main raw water intakes within the floor of the River Dee to allow them to carry out upgrading works to the intake screens.
The sheet pile installation work were carried out afloat from a modular barge working within the River Dee under stringent environmental conditions.
