Tarbert East Pier Strengthening
Client: Tarbert (Loch Fyne) Harbour Authority - East Pier Strengthening
Scope of work: The East Pier at Tarbert required significant strenghtening works to facilitate continued berthing by the Waverley and other vessels.
The strengthening works comprised of greenheart timber replacements in and below water level including timber fenders. There was also a requirement to install underwater reinforced concrete collars to a number of piles.
CW1 Barge Spud Legs
Client: Coastworks
Scope of work: Fellow marine contractor Coastworks had a requirement for new steel spud legs for their CW1 barge to service a long contract on the River Clyde.
Our works comprised the fabrication and supply of the new spud legs for installation within the barge.
Muirton Basin - Caledonian Canal
Client: Intermarine for British Waterways Board
Scope of work: The works were being carried out by term contractor Intermarine for British Waterways on the Caledonian Canal.
Our works comprise the fabrication and supply of the tubular restraint piles for the new pontoons, together with hire of piling hammers and equipment to facilitate installation.
